Introducing: Sugar Candy Mountain

Posted on May 22 2020

If there's one thing we love about a lot of the brands we represent it's their stand and practice to be eco, social and ethically conscious in all aspects of their business.  The fashion industry produces a lot of waste and has practices that are harmful to our planet.  There is a growing movement in our industry where smaller, consciously minded designers are going to great measures to show that you can still create fashion and be friendly to the Earth simultaneously.

We are proud to introduce you to one of our newest brands who embodies what it means to be thoughtful and conscientious, Sugar Candy Mountain.

"I hope through my clothing, I can bring people together. And bring employment to the community and bring joy to women so that they can feel good and feel connected. "          -Bianca Branaman  Founder & Designer

Sugar Candy Mountain was created out of a desire for a confluence of comfort, beauty and community.  It is a reference Orwell made to Heaven, but in our sense, a Heaven of nature and community that can be lived-in and brought from Big Sur to Manhattan.  It is generated from the ideals of radical creativity, revolutionary beauty and a future that is self-sustaining.

Their garments are made from natural fabrics and are produced in California. They attend to details like french seams with the same love that they focus on upon our timeless place where individuals exist in balance with their environment and their dreams.

Sugar Candy Mountain is an environmental and socially conscious company.
They make every effort they can to leave as small a footprint as possible on the environment. This includes using techniques such as french seams and all natural materials that guarantee the long life of a garment so that it never needs to be discarded. When shipping, they wrap their garments in recycled paper rather than the unlimited number of non-reusable/non-recyclable plastic bags that are the industry standard.
Their designs are timeless, so they can be worn and re-accessorized as
styles and trends come and go.
