Horseshoe is fortunate to have found a wonderful home and community in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood. A small business owned and operated by women, Horseshoe believes in the importance of giving back to the community that has supported and enabled us to thrive in the field of Seattle women's fashion and boutiques.To this end, Horseshoe is starting a new store initiative - each month, we will donate to a charity or cause chosen by a Horseshoe employee! We will also be selling (super cute!) Horseshoe designed t-shirts each month, and the proceeds from the t-shirts' sales will be donated to the different charities as well.
During the month of September, we are excited to announce that Horseshoe is partnering with Seattle's Lifelong Aids Alliance! This organization was a pioneer in supporting and assisting individuals and communities battling HIV and AIDS. Today, it has expanded its focus to combating different illnesses (including HIV and AIDS) while working to improve the quality of life for those they impact.
Horseshoe is proud to support the work of this important organization. In addition to donating to Lifelong, Horseshoe will be participating in the End Aids Walk on Saturday, September 23rd, and you can join our team! We will be meeting that morning at Volunteer Park at 9:00, and would love to have our customers walk with us to help end AIDS. The proceeds from the Horseshoe t-shirts sold during September will also help raise money for the End AIDS Walk. Additionally, Horseshoe is hosting a special shopping event from 4:00 to 8:00 on Thursday, September 21st to benefit Lifelong. Twenty percent of all proceeds will be donated on behalf of our End AIDS Walk team to Lifelong!
