Depending on the venue or even the person, how does your outfit choice change?One the venue, I try to dress the part of the venue/event with still staying true to my sense of style.Maybe I'll add a red lip to spice it up, but I wouldn't do that on a first date!On the person, if they're more casual then I would dress more casual. What do you typically wear on a first date?I wear something that fits great and I feel comfortable in. Nothing to dressy as I try to stick to what I typically wear during the week, maybe with just a little twist. Jeans, booties, relaxed v-neck, belt and some funky rings or necklace. In all honesty, I prefer to wear my converse- that way if I need to run away for any reason I can!! haha!
Depending on the venue or even the person, how does your outfit choice change?The only thing that would really change would be my footwear. Booties if I feel like being more dressy, chucks if it's super casual.
Is there a certain style or garment type you recommend to steer clear from?Anything that you don't feel %100 in. If you're pulling and tugging at your clothes the other person can sense you're uncomfortable. You want to project confidence :) I would stay away from short skirts or dresses. Trying to keep them from flying up or riding up is distracting.
What's your pick for a first date spot in Seattle?Right now, because it's Summer I choose Saint Johns on The Hill (capital hill) They have a quaint back patio, great drinks, subtle lights strung above and an amazing array of toy dinosaurs/mini figurines set up in the grass-which is a great ice breaker in itself!

What do you typically wear on a first date?Black booties with 2-3" heel, tiered lace shorts, black high low tank top, black leather jacket & a great necklace.
Depending on the venue or even the person, how does your outfit choice change?If it's a hot venue, the jacket will change. But typically this outfit is pretty versatile. If the guy is shorter than me, I will usually change my black booties to my leather high top vans, so I don't tower over him.
Is there a certain style or garment type you recommend to steer clear from?I tend to steer clear of a skirt on the first date. You never know what activity you will end up doing, and the last thing you want to worry about is your outfit.
What's your pick for a first date spot in Seattle?I always suggest grabbing a drink, some of my favs are Six Gill, Oliver's Twist, and Schillings Cider. Grabbing a drink is a small commitment. That way if the date is bad, you can bail right afterwards. If it ends up being a fun date, you can always do something afterwards. I tend to hit up local arcades, take in a concert, or sit outside by the water and brown bag it.
